Which set of U.S. Presidents have descendants who are married to each other?

  • Nixon & Eisenhower:On this day in 1968, Julie Nixon married David Eisenhower in New York City. Julie Nixon was the daughter of Richard M. Nixon, who was running for president at the time of the wedding. Her groom was the grandson of Dwight D. Eisenhower, who served as America’s 34th president. Julie and David met at the Republican National Convention in 1956 while his grandfather was campaigning for re-election. They were both eight at the time. They started dating in 1966, when they were both college freshmen, and became engaged a year later. The couple are still married, have three children and live in Pennsylvania.
