Thu Jul 30 2015 · Tactical Risk is the chance of loss due to changes in business conditions on a real time basis. Tactics differ from strategy in that they handle real time conditions. In other words a strategy is a plan for the future while a tactic is a plan to handle real world conditions as they unfold.
Tactical Risk Analysis is a form of risk analysis focused on driving decisions and/or actions within an organization. This should not be confused with Informative Risk Analysis another form of analysis that focuses on providing visibility and awareness to a given risk issue.
Those mishaps in conjunction to their potential consequences are called “ tactical risks ”. Operational planning is the process of linking strategic goals and objectives to tactical goals and objectives. It describes milestones conditions for success and explains how or what portion of a strategic plan will be put into operation during a given operational period.
