[Answer] What does a Brannock Device measure?

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

What does a Brannock Device measure?

  • Foot size:Before Charles Brannock invented his device for measuring foot size, the only available option was a block of pre-measured wood. With the invention of the Brannock Device, the accuracy of foot measurement, and thus the accuracy of shoe sizing, improved dramatically. The shoe business was in Brannock's blood. His father was co-founder of the Park-Brannock Shoe Co in Syracuse, New York, in 1906. While studying at Syracuse University, young Brannock built a prototype for his device using an Erector set. He patented the device in 1926 and 1927, then started a company to build it. Source: Brannock.com
