[Answer] What was the original name of the game Twister?

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

What was the original name of the game Twister?

  • Pretzel:Twister was invented by Charles Foley and Neil Rabens in 1966 and was the first game that required people to use their bodies as playing pieces. The men tested the game with a group of office workers and named the game "Pretzel." The name was later changed to Twister after it was sold to Milton Bradley. On May 3, 1966, Twister was introduced on "The Tonight Show," where Johnny Carson demonstrated the game with the glamorous actress Eva Gabor. The stars were in knots, the audience was in stiches, and the game became an overnight success. Twister was soon after named “The Game of the Year.”
