[Answer] In Homer's "The Odyssey," what was hidden inside the Trojan horse?

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

In Homer's "The Odyssey," what was hidden inside the Trojan horse?

  • Greeks:First mentioned in the Odyssey, the Trojan horse was a wooden horse said to have been used by the Greeks during the Trojan War to infiltrate the city of Troy. The Greeks built a massive wooden horse which they left outside the city. The Trojans believed the horse was a peace offering and dragged it inside their city as a victory trophy. However, hidden inside the horse was a group of Greek soldiers. While the Trojans slept, the Greeks crept out of the horse, killed the guards, and unlocked the gates of the city for the rest of the Greek army. The Greeks entered and destroyed the city of Troy, ending the war.
