[Answer] What President hosted his daughter’s prom at the White House?

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

What President hosted his daughter’s prom at the White House?

  • Gerald Ford:At the time Gerald Ford became President of the United States, his 17-year only daughter Susan Ford was beginning her senior year at Holton-Arms School. When her class started planning their prom they turned to her for a venue. Susan hosted the dance at the White House on May 31, 1975, which became the first (and only) high-school dance to ever take place at the executive mansion. The menu included those staples of 1970s cuisine, Swedish meatballs and quiche, as well as a nonalcoholic punch. The cost of the dance, which totaled $1,300, was raised by members of the senior class, with no cost to taxpayers.
