We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

Which company sponsored the ride Space Mountain when it first opened at Walt Disney World in 1975?

  • RCA:When the Magic Kingdom opened its gates on October 1, 1971, there weren't many attractions yet, but new rides were already in the works. The concept and planning for Space Mountain began almost immediately. Rather than foot the entire bill themselves, Disney convinced RCA chairman Robert Sarnoff to sponsor the new attraction. RCA agreed to contribute $10 million to help fund the project. In return, RCA was prominently featured throughout the attraction. A towering sign with RCA's logo was displayed above the attraction's entrance, and guests exited Space Mountain through a post-show display featuring RCA's Colortrak television sets.
